Before I begin, I I want to thank you, Faith. The document that you wrote was excellent. I was able to use that and the KPIs that you chose to really do it.
Well, I I'll talk about it when I go uh down deeper. But I do want to thank you.
The work that you did was instrumental in helping me land my offer.
Thank you so much, Trinh, for the kind words. I'm really excited to have been on the journey with you as well. Thank you. And I'll make sure I I repeat that.
I I want to se separate what you guys did and what I did. Obviously, you guys did quite a bit and I'll make sure I
highlight that the selling point would be for Relentless was that it was a numbers game. So, the more the more interviews I could
get, the more chances I could get, I knew well beforehand that there would be
a few roadblocks. I did encounter them, but at the end of the day, if I didn't feel comfortable and they did not feel
comfortable, I knew it wasn't a job I wanted to take. Again, it was a numbers game, which is why Relentless was a good value prop for me.
One thing I'll say is at the very beginning I wasn't getting the results that I wanted. But then I realized after
sitting on the strategy calls that were are are held uh weekly that the more you put into it, the more you get out of it.
I had some one-on-one calls with the Relentless Staff that actually helped tailor my LinkedIn page and we isolated
on three or four roles that suited my skill set and my experience. Once we did
that, the interviews not only started coming more often, but they were actually more relevant and more in line
with the salary requirements that I defined. M well I I don't think there was anything negative other than I think Relentless
could have done a better job setting expectations around us putting forth the effort. The the way Relentless
uh advertises the services it's kind of turnkey. You hand it over to the team and they do everything. But that's not
the case. You have to specifically point out what you're targeting, who you want to target. Again, the more you put into it, the better the results.
Unfortunately for me, it wasn't until about three or four months into it where I realized that at the very beginning, I
was kind of acidic. I I was being a little negative. However, on the strategy call, I couldn't help to see
that several people were having good results. So, it could it couldn't just be me my my results. It's I had to put
in the effort. And so if I were to recommend one change in your marketing
or onboarding, I would actually put a ve very big emphasis on
the user putting more effort into the resume and what they want to target because that I think will get them
better results. I would not have been able to negotiate my salary without Relentless List. Um but uh I I'll table with that for now.
So I did a lot of networking through LinkedIn and I was able to communicate with other people in order to really
find a job. Now that led to be an interview relentless help with everything else from writing the offer
thesis custom telling it to the role uh updating my resume and then helping me with negotiations.
So during the time that I was interviewing with this company, I was also interviewing through Relentless.
Relentless had got me um several interviews that I was on the late stages and the salary that they were giving me
was actually higher than the one that I was I was interviewing for that I wanted. So I was able to use both act
interviews to negotiate a better offer on the roles that I wanted. Had I not had the other interview in flight, I
don't think I would have had the confidence to do that. Um because I I went into the the interview not playing
poker or trying to to uh say something that wasn't true. I knew that if the other company that I really wanted
decided not to match my salary demands, I could then put forth all my effort into the the interview that Relentless
had gotten me. I I've recommend it to other colleagues of mine who are, you know, we we we work for big tech and
the company I used to work for is laying off a lot of people. So, I started planting the seed with them, letting them know that I got great value
out of it. Relentless does a great job of of applying for you, but you still
need to have your resume, you know, set up correctly. you still need to target the role, the keywords and those things
are really important which at the very beginning I I didn't think they were.
The other thing is I would not undersell the value of the offer thesis and negotiation.
Um I did I didn't find out those were available to me until I started attending the strategic calls. I I
called that out because I found great value in that, but I didn't know they existed until after the fact. So again,
m maybe I I know marketing kind of gears towards, you know, get a better job, more money, you're
happy, etc. But I I think a lot of the these things that you guys do really well, you under market.
