Before working with Relentless, I was juggling two full-time jobs. Both companies knew about each other, but it wasn’t sustainable—especially with a young family. I also knew neither role aligned with the long-term path I wanted. I was trying to pivot into the energy sector, even though my background was in finance and product, mainly within healthcare.

I didn’t have time for a third full-time job—looking for the next opportunity. So when I got a cold email from Kareem, I did some due diligence and decided to reach out. We started working together in early 2023.

Over the next month, we built out several job search campaigns. One of the main reasons I joined was because I wanted to switch industries—which, as most people know, is incredibly hard. Relentless’s volume-based, targeted approach gave me a real shot at making that pivot.

In the short term, the biggest value was bandwidth. We had three campaigns running with dozens of applications going out every week. That broad coverage allowed us to focus on responses and screenings.

In the long term, I gained a new life skill: how to position myself in the job market. I now understand how to engage multiple contacts at a company, tailor communication, and navigate interviews more strategically. That’s something I’ll take with me, whether or not we work together again.

Relentless helped me pivot. Mid-career transitions are tough—there’s a lot of inertia built up after 10 or 20 years. But I didn’t feel stuck anymore. I moved into a space I was excited about, with more opportunity and alignment.

If you’re on the fence: do your homework. But from my experience, it works. You still have to put in effort, but they’ll guide you, give you exposure, and coach you along the way.
